Angel Vaccaro has been involved with the sport of gymnastics since the age of five.  As a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she trained and competed in Louisiana regionally, nationally, and internationally.  She was Louisiana State All-Around Champion in the highest level at the age of 11(the youngest in the state).  She then went on to regionals and placed 2nd All-Around.  Her favorite and best event is the balance beam.  She says, “the key to doing well and loving the balance beam is having no fear and just going for it.” After Angel's gymnastics career she then went to college and cheered for Southeastern Louisiana University and the New Orleans Saints.  She used her gymnastics skills for cheerleading.  Angel loves gymnastics and cheerleading and says, ”God has given her a gift and  she wants to share that with others.”  Since opening Techniques Gym in September of 2004, Angel's students have been gold medal winners in most of their competitions.  In 2007 Techniques Gymnastic Team placed 2nd in the region.        Jennifer Hoyt was a gymnast at Aero Gymnastics Academy in Vestal, NY for 11 years.  Jennifer was a level 7 gymnast and competed in the state of NY as well as other nearby states.  Angel coached her for 2 years in Vestal and says, “Jennifer has a God given talent and if she did not have knee injuries she could have made it to the top in gymnastics.”  She loves to condition the gymnasts and is very good at it.  It keeps the gymnasts strong for new and more difficult skills they will be learning in the future.  Jennifer is a great coach and we love having her on our coaching staff.
